The action on one rein acts directly on the noseband at the rein attachment point. When the action is on both reins, it acts on the horse's nose. It allows the same hand actions as with a bit without interacting with the mouth.
The wide lining on the noseband makes this bridle softer and perfect for riders new to bitless riding.
