Zilco SL Pony Sliding Backrest Saddle
Zilco SL Sliding Back Saddles are constructed from a unique flexible elastomer tree , which conforms to the shape of most ponies while providing good spine clearance .
It has integrated honeycomb PVC lined pads and can therefore be used with or without a harness pad .
This model is designed for use with two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles equipped with rigid fixed shafts . The unique design of the tree and the use of special buckles allow the backrest to slide freely. This has a self-balancing effect on the shafts for greater comfort for the horse and passengers.
The backrest can also be locked when sliding is not required (e.g. when using a different vehicle with independent shafts). To do this, you must install a 25mm Conway buckle (sold separately), placed under the fifth wheel key on each side to limit movement.
