Federal Guide to PONY GALLOPS
OBJECTIVE
"Promoting the encounter between a child and a pony is a wonderful adventure for those responsible for education, sport, and leisure," explains Serge Lecomte, president of the French Equestrian Federation, in the preface to the new book. "The pony activity is attractive both on a sporting and cultural level, as well as on an emotional level. The bonds established between the child and the pony help them grow. At the Pony Club, they expand their world to ponies and others, gain self-confidence, and become stronger, more skilled, and more responsible. The Federal Guide to Galops®Poneys develops a six-step training plan. It's a good tool available to parents and Pony Clubs to support our children in their journey as riders."
THE PROGRAM
The Galops® Poneys are aimed at children from 3 to 10 years old . They are organized into 2 cycles of 6 stages to mark the learning up to the doors of the Galop® 2 rider. Cycle 1 includes the Bronze, Silver and Gold Poneys® . Cycle 2 includes the Bronze, Silver and Gold Galops® . The Galops® Poneys take into account the fundamental aspects of the physiological, psychological, intellectual and relational development of the child .
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Each Galop® in the pony sector has 5 sections, the knowledge sections corresponding to the skills and the practice sections corresponding to the know-how.
They are similar to the 5 sections of the Galops® for riders:

THE GUIDE
The content is developed in the Federal Guide Galops® Poneys, which helps parents accompany their children in their discovery of horse riding, ponies and the Pony Club . It allows them to experience this wonderful adventure with them.
Hirlay's drawings help the child or his family to understand what is being asked of him by using the illustrations.
