Genuine sheepskin on synthetic backing, hook-and-loop closure.
The sheep noseband (nasaline) helps to restrict the horse's field of vision and encourages its concentration forward , rather than on objects on the ground (such as shadows).
It is also useful for horses that raise their heads too high and shirk the bit. The sheepskin noseband corrects this problem by encouraging the horse to lower its head to see what is ahead, such as jumps. When the horse's head is raised, the sheepskin noseband blocks vision.
