Earplugs are used to muffle background noise during racing or training. In many cases, highly tense horses perform better and are easier to control if they can focus on their work rather than what is happening around them.
This model offers two levels of noise reduction . The beanie reduces the amount of noise, and this can be further enhanced with the use of the integrated molded rubber earplugs .
A pull cord that extends up the sulky. This allows the driver to remove the earplugs if necessary during the race, while still maintaining some level of noise reduction through the earmuffs.
