The horse is a herbivore, nature originally intended to provide it with everything it needed for a balanced ration of plants, which it could freely seek in nature. Limited pastures and use for sport have completely upset this natural balance and led to deficiencies in our companion. The intake of oats or barley, rich in starch, certainly provides the horse with the necessary energy, but it completely unbalances the phosphocalcic ratio of the ration. The consequence is bone decalcification and a weakening of the body on several levels.
"Essential Tonus" provides all the complementary micronutrients every horse needs and forms the foundation of a horse's diet. Calcium, phosphorus, copper, and vitamin D ensure strong bones. Biotin promotes quality horn. Vitamin E and selenium promote proper muscle function.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
For horses on a traditional diet (hay + oats or barley), distribute ESSENTIAL TONUS continuously in the ration. Pregnant and lactating mares: 150 g. Stallions: 150 g. Race or sport horses: 100 g. Foals from 2 months to 1 year: 50 to 85 g. Small horses and ponies: 50 to 100 g. For horses on a mixed diet (hay + pellets + oats or barley), incorporate half the quantities of ESSENTIAL TONUS above into the daily ration, for each type of horse.
