Norton Neck Collar
Adjustable neck collar, with NORTON marking on the front. This collar allows you to ride without a bridle or bit , in order to get closer to riding in near freedom.
For horses not trained to ride without a bit, it is possible to combine it with a bridle to begin with.
Used in combination with regular reins, horses will gradually open up and better understand the actions required. This collar must be well adjusted; the rider's actions must be carried out 50% with the regular reins and 50% with the collar reins.
Eventually, the collar will be used alone, the horse having become more receptive to the rider's natural aids.
