France is the first country to adopt a standard governing the manufacture of equestrian airbags (PPE, Personal Protective Equipment). Pending European harmonization, this NF S72-800-2022 standard provides riders with increased protection by regulating the protective surface area and inflation speed, and by requiring vests to undergo much more stringent impact tests.
The EQUITHÈME AIRSAFE Airbag developed by FREEJUMP is an airbag designed for equestrian sports. It is worn close to the body , over a thin layer of clothing such as a T-shirt, fine wool, etc. This airbag protects the rider's vital areas.
Compatible jackets carry the “Freejump Airbag Technology” badge.

The AIRBAG EQUITHÈME AIRSAFE vest reaches the pressure required to provide optimal protection in 98 ms* and exceeds the impact tests of the AFNOR NF S78-800-2022 standard.

The EQUITHÈME airbag gas generator is the most efficient on the market. It is lightweight and compact.
Resetting is made easy by the cap guide for unscrewing/rescrewing: easy resetting and no chance of losing the cap. The ball retaining clip allows for safe and easy repositioning of the ball cord.
A QR code printed on the FREEJUMP cartridges allows you to view an explanatory video on how to reassemble the new cartridge after an accident or accidental triggering.
Compatible clothing is certified by the AFNOR NF S78-800-2022 standard.
Jackets compatible with the EQUITHÈME AIRSAFE airbag must bear the label “FREEJUMP AIRBAG TECHNOLOGY – COMPATIBLE JACKET”

Cartridges: The AIRSAFE vest is approved for FREEJUMP cartridges only. There are 3 cartridge sizes:
• 50CC (For children's sizes S and L)
• 60CC (For sizes from XXS to L)
• 85CC (For sizes LT-XL-XXL)
• Do not machine wash or dry clean. Do not immerse in water. It is recommended to wash your airbag vest by hand with a sponge using mild detergents and without rubbing.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not iron.
• Do not expose your airbag vest to high temperatures (storage on a radiator, near a flame, in a closed vehicle in direct sunlight).
• Do not leave your airbag vest folded or rolled up for a long period of time.
• Store your vest on a hanger in a dry place away from humidity.
ATTENTION
• The child airbag is suitable for a person weighing at least 25 kg.
• The adult airbag from size XXS is suitable for a person of 1m45 and 35 kg minimum.
Product warranty
